LAMB & SALAD BURGERS

Makes 4

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
NZ sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 Good Grocer lamb patties
180g Maasdam cheese, cut in 4 thin slices
4 Good Grocer burger buns, cut in half
Good Grocer Aioli
4 fancy lettuce leaves
1/3 telegraph cucumber, sliced
2-3 truss tomatoes, thickly sliced
Good Grocer Spicy Carrot Chutney

1. Preheat a grill on high. Season lamb patties with salt and pepper. Heat a pan with a little oil, add patties and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.

2. Place patties onto a rack set over an oven pan. Place a portion of cheese on top of each pattie and grill for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.

3. Toast burger buns at the same time then spread cut sides with aioli.

4. Pop a lettuce leaf onto each burger bun base and place hot cheesy patties on top. Spoon over a good dollop of carrot chutney. Top with some slices of cucumber and tomato and the burger bun lids.
