WAGYU BEEF SLIDERS WITH BEETROOT SLAW

Makes 6

1 large beetroot, peeled
1 large carrot, peeled
1 red onion, peeled
1/4 sweet mini red cabbage
1/4 cup chopped parsley or coriander
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
NZ sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 Good Grocer Wagyu slider patties
6 thin slices Peppered Havarti cheese
6 Good Grocer slider buns, cut in half
Good Grocer Aioli
HG Sauce or Good Grocer Tomato Ketchup

1. To make the slaw, use a knife or mandolin slicer to julienne the beetroot, carrot and onion (or coarsely grate, if preferred). Finely shred the cabbage. Place the vegetables in a bowl, add herbs, drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss well to combine.

2. Preheat a BBQ or chargrill pan. Brush slider patties with a little oil, season with salt and pepper and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Top each pattie with a slice of cheese at this stage, if desired.

3. At the same time, grill cut-sides of the slider buns to toast. Place hot patties onto slider bun bases. Top with a pile of slaw and a good dollop of aioli. Serve with HG Sauce or Tomato Ketchup. Devour immediately!
